These General Conditions appear on the website, www.cosmolingo.com, where they can be filed and printed by all TRANSLATORS.
The TRANSLATOR is not permitted to complete the application without having first accepted the General Conditions.
The TRANSLATOR declares that he/she is of legal age, is registered as a freelancer and accepts these conditions after having read and understood them. The TRANSLATOR affirms that he/she complies with current law on issues of tax and employment and undertakes to issue the corresponding invoices to Cosmovega (www.cosmolingo.com).
The TRANSLATOR accepts that the information he/she has access to when carrying out a job is strictly confidential and will use it only for strictly translation purposes.
The TRANSLATOR undertakes not to make direct contact with any of the clients of Cosmovega (www.cosmolingo.com) for whom he/she has been subcontracted.
Through this contract, Cosmovega (www.cosmolingo.com) commissions the TRANSLATOR to carry out the translation of specific texts into the specified language and the TRANSLATOR undertakes to carry out the faithful translation of the original at the previously agreed price.
Price.- The price of the translation shall be established beforehand according to the language and the number of words to be translated.
Forms of payment.- Cosmovega (www.cosmolingo.com) shall pay the TRANSLATOR the price of the translation via PayPal or bank transfer.
Copyright.- Cosmovega acquires all intellectual property rights on the translation carried out. The TRANSLATOR yields the intellectual property rights on the translation carried out to Cosmovega.
Liability of Cosmovega.- Cosmovega shall in no case be liable for a translation not being accepted for failing to be a faithful version of the original. In such a case, the TRANSLATOR shall not be paid for the service and Cosmovega shall reserve the right to take the necessary legal actions for claiming any possible damages.
Rendering of the service.- The TRANSLATOR undertakes to meet the established deadlines. If, for any reason, he/she is unable to do so, he/she shall inform Cosmovega in advance. Otherwise, he/she shall be charged for any losses arising. The TRANSLATOR shall work with due diligence and carry out a faithful translation of the original within the period agreed upon by the parties in accordance with the complexity and length of the specific text to be translated.
Cosmovega and the TRANSLATOR may discharge this contract for any of the reasons established by law and, particularly, due to non-fulfilment of these General Conditions. The contractual relationship may also be cancelled by either of the parties notifying the other of its desire to do so with fifteen days notice.
These General Conditions are regulated by Spanish law. The latter has the power to resolve any dispute or conflict arising from these General Conditions.
